Why do I bother

Why do I keep trying

to keep running around this hamster wheel

 

Years of therapy

Buckets of change

I'm as healthy as I'm gonna be.

 

Do everything to the letter

everything by the book

and still I'm alone

Lonely time and again.

All you have is a fucking excuse.

Not talking cuz your 'fraid I'll get mad?

All I hear is a copout

It's the ones who think they're healthy

who need the fucking help.

 

How many insults must I endure

And if I stop you in your tracks

from taking your shit out on me

You blame me anyway

All I hear is your fucking copout

as I try so hard to make this work.
